Pay Here
A two-volume artist’s book set from Gözde Mimiko Türkkan’s Pay Here project, this work serves as a visceral exploration of gender politics and the complexities of female identity. Through a lens of personal experience, Türkkan reflects on the versatility of the female self and the power dynamics of dominance, intentionally utilizing societal clichés and prejudices only to dismantle them. This edition captures a world "off the rails," translating raw emotions of horror, disgust, envy, and absurdity into a tactile, multi-layered narrative.
