Monument Counter (Anıt Sayaç) is a digital memorial created by Zeren Göktan to honor the women in Turkey who have lost their lives to domestic violence. In 2013, poets Aslı Serin and Birhan Keskin co-wrote a poem sharing the memorial's name, which was published on the 160. Kilometre website and has since reached over 20,000 readers.

As part of Performistanbul’s Stay LIVE at Home series and in collaboration with border_less, artist Meltem Şahin created a live performance dedicated to Monument Counter. For an hour and a half, she listened to recordings of Keskin and Serin reciting the poem while she translated their words into drawings. Now, Monument Counter has been published by 160. Kilometre, featuring Şahin’s original illustrations and design.
